This project aims to provide a variety of perspectives that reflect the Lac Édouard’s many dimensions, namely historical through the Sanatorium, environmental and agricultural. It does so with a particular focus on the protection of the bird Chimney Swift’s habitats, while using a book developed as a device to connect the several short films.

Each of these offers a fragmented story, narrated by people who lived and witnessed the history of the Lac Édouard and the Sanatorium. This series is not chronological nor divided into subjects. It is a journey of overlapped meanings, fact, fiction and history. Past, present and signs of hope for the future of the chimney swift mix in the context of the work being done to maintain and restore the integrity of this magical location in the north of Quebec.
